40FT Brewery, Bootyard, Abbott Street, London (2026)

The brew house and tap room are built in repurposed 40 foot shipping containers. The tap room is open on weekends from 5-11pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Their first two beers include:

LARGER 4.8% ABV:
A hoppy version of the German style Kölsch, but unfiltered. Brewed with a new hop from the States Lemon Drop. PALE ALE 4.1%ABV:
A hoppy American style Pale Ale with the flavour of Summer with a mix of UK and US hops. Available in 330ml cans. Contact: [email protected]

Our 7th annual collab with the legends at St. JOHN has landed — and this year, they’re coming east.

Trevor Gulliver and the St. JOHN crew are rolling up to Walthamstow for the first time, armed with their famous bakery hits — buns, pies, and of course that Eccles Cake.

We’ve taken their blend of currants, nutmeg and allspice and folded it into our stout to create something dark, smooth, and dangerously drinkable. Think rich malt, dark chocolate and winter spice — proper comfort in a glass.

Join us Sunday 9th November at 40ft Blackhorse for the launch — St. JOHN food, Eccles Stout on tap, cans to take home, and a vinyl soundtrack spinning all afternoon.
