We are pleased to welcome Miguel Merino Navajas of Bodega Miguel Merino, one of the smallest yet most highly regarded producers in Rioja Alta, farming just 13 hectares of old vines across 34 parcels.

The estate’s remarkable La Loma 2021 was awarded 100 points by Tim Atkin MW, and the winery has been classified as a Rioja First Growth in his latest report.

We are delighted that Pablo Simón of Bodegas de La Marquesa (Valserrano) will be showcasing the Valserrano range, produced from limestone-rich vineyards in Villabuena de Álava, Rioja Alavesa.

A historic family estate now in its fourth generation, Valserrano is known for wines that express the structure and character of this exceptional terroir.

Proud moment for one of our producers 🍷 Miguel Merino has been named in Wines of the Year 2025 by Decanter Magazine (January 2026 edition), with La Quinta Cruz Mazuelo 2022 scoring 96 points.

A stunning expression of Mazuelo from a cooler zone of Rioja - poised, refined, with real texture and lift. A wine that perfectly reflects Miguel’s meticulous vineyard work and long-term commitment to quality.

We’ve also just published Miguel’s 2025 Harvest Report, written directly from Briones, offering an honest insight into a challenging but exceptional vintage and his first fully organic-certified harvest across all vineyards.

Yesterday our Sales Team attended the Best UK Sommelier Villa Sandi Award 2025 at Middle Temple, where they showcased a selection of our wines and celebrated the incredible talent of the sommelier community.

A huge congratulations to Olivier Lefévre, Senior Sommelier at Hide, on winning the award! 👏

We presented a hand-picked selection of 14 wines from our portfolio, including:
- Gilvesy St George Cuvée 2022 – a Furmint-led blend from the volcanic soils of Badacsony, Hungary.
- Pelassa Roero Arneis ‘Tucci’ 2022 – from Montà d’Alba in the chalky Roero hills of Piedmont, Italy; crafted from a two-hectare vineyard at 330m altitude.
- Montauto Metodo Classico Brut NV – a 100% Sangiovese sparkling wine made in the traditional method from Tuscany, Italy.

…and many more outstanding wines that reflect the diversity and quality of our small, family producers.

Join us as we welcome producers from across the world to pour their wines and taste alongside you. This year’s line-up features exciting new releases — from the Old Dry White Port by Quinta da Silveira to Lironeros, a collaboration between David Puras and Miguel Merino of Rioja Alta.

We’re also thrilled to introduce Bodegas del Río, the newest addition to the Davy’s portfolio, debuting their refined Manzanillas and still unfortified Palomino blanco Casilla Verde.
