From Canada with love.. we’re touched to have been sent a photo all the way from Vancouver Island by customers who have celebrated the festive season with a bottle of our Strawberry & Honey Spiced Rum!

As 2025 draws to a close with an icy nip in the air, we’ll also be pouring ourselves a warming tot to toast what has been another wild 12 months for Modern Art Distillery - and to welcome a new year that promises more M.A.D excitement.

We’re on the crest of a wave with our latest label artwork to be unveiled.

A vibrant harbour scene by beautifully encapsulates the charm of the small coastal village of Langstone, situated between Chichester and Portsmouth on the south coast.

Inspired by travel, exploration and the natural world, Anya works in mixed media, combining acrylics, inks, collage and mark-making to produce distinctive scenes that evoke both place and spirit - “a spark of calm and a little bit of wonder” is how she describes her pieces.

Anya’s label artwork is on our 70cl Blueberry & Bergamot Gin, Strawberry & Honey Spiced Rum, Watermelon & Thyme Vodka and Orange & Pomegranate Gin, all available from our online store (link in bio) - jump aboard for some spirits and creative heaven! ⛵️🤩🍹

Winter wonderland: we’re getting strong seasonal vibes from ’s atmospheric snowy scene - new to our gin, rum and vodka labels.

Eastbourne artist Chris works in many media, including watercolours, ink, charcoal and pencil, and is inspired by the natural world around him - the dramatic South Downs, the ever-changing sea and the windswept wilderness of the local marshland.

His painting ‘King of the Forest’ perfectly captures the bleakness and beauty of a fox in mid-winter and makes the ideal festive gift on our 70cl Blueberry & Bergamot Gin, Strawberry & Honey Spiced Rum, Watermelon & Thyme Vodka and Orange & Pomegranate Gin bottles - all available from our online store (link in bio).

Just in time for Christmas we’ve launched some real crackers - fabulous new artwork and a new flavour!

We’re thrilled to be working with TikTok sensation whose amazing spray paint panda artwork, titled ‘Big Bangda’, appears on our 70cl Blueberry & Bergamot Gin, Strawberry & Honey Spiced Rum, Watermelon & Thyme Vodka and - newly launched - Orange & Pomegranate Gin.

Devon-based Tom is a self-taught artist and shares his awesome spray paint techniques on TikTok and Instagram - be sure to visit as they’re a fascinating watch!

We’re getting into the festive spirit here at Modern Art Distillery as we kick off Christmas with ’s fabulous three-day Make Merry Winter Craft Fair in Hampshire starting tomorrow. It’s a curated event showcasing the work of some amazing makers and local businesses, and will be packed with inspiring gift ideas - including, of course, our gin, rum and vodka!

You’ll also find us this Sunday, at Wincanton Christmas Market the following Friday and at the magical Christmas Market in Dorset on November 29th & 30th - featuring over 100 artisan stalls brimming with gifts, crafts and food & drink.

All we need is a sprinkling of snow, a warming Strawberry &Honey Spiced Rum and we’re all set for a M.A.D Yule🎄☃️🍹

It was a great pleasure to present a Modern Art Distillery award to textile artist .harper1 at the opening of ’s latest exhibition in Chichester.

Julie is one of more than 40 designer-makers whose stunning work is on display in the exhibition ‘Tales in the Making’ until November 23.

The skill, talent and sheer beauty of the objects on show is breathtaking and represents the true spirit of creativity - we loved being a part of the preview evening. It’s a must-see show 🤩.

We’re thrilled to be part of ’s Handmade Chelsea preview evening on Wednesday at the start of a three-day celebration of exquisite UK craft making.

Handmade Chelsea is one of the UK’s longest running and most established contemporary craft and design fairs, showcasing the brightest and best making talent across Britain, from jewellery, glass and ceramics to fashion, fine art and furniture.

We’ll be serving drinks and selling our bottles at Wednesday’s event - set in the beautiful - with the show open from Thursday through to Saturday. Perfect for Christmas gifts and not to be missed if you’re a craft and design fan - see link in bio for tickets ⬆️

As summer turns to autumn, we’re looking forward to being back at the fabulous this weekend - we’ll be at stand number 110, right below the castle, on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm each day.

It’s the ideal chance to start your Christmas shopping with a bottle or two of our Blueberry & Bergamot Gin, Strawberry & Honey Spiced Rum, Watermelon & Thyme Vodka or London Dry Gin - or simply a treat for yourself.

While you’re there, pop in to hear our talk in the Castle - ‘Modern Art Distillery: a unique collaboration of creative spirits’ - on Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.

is such a beautiful location for a festival, with its glorious grounds overlooking the Exe Estuary, a deer park, walled garden and of course the castle itself which will be open to visitors over the weekend. The tastiest autumn day out 🍂🦌🍹

Picture perfect: this year we launched a series of limited edition labels to represent the many different locations where we attended events - including Wi******er and Deal Food Festival. We also introduced our first international artist, Adrian Bushell from Canada, and a quirky painting by called ‘Jazz in the Park’.

The last remaining bottles are now available from our online store (link in bio) in 50cl sizes on our Blueberry & Bergamot Gin and Strawberry & Honey Spiced Rum flavours. Beautiful, collectible and the perfect gift - grab one while you can.
