Behold the beautiful juniper berry! Key ingredient in gin and without which we wouldn't be celebrating World Gin Day today.
Here are some bts from a recent juniper distillation:
- Separating the solids from the juniper macerate
- Final stragglers being strained as the macerate is being poured into more manageable containers
- Our vacuum still doing its thing as we fill the flask ready for distillation, which will give us juniper distillate
