Spring Portfolio Tasting 2026
Firing up the Instagram machine to let you know we’ll be having a trade tasting at the end of March.
It will take place on Tuesday 31st of March and the venue is former (work) home of Adrian .
The factory is just off Bethnal Green road/Redchurch Street so well located and takes us back to our warehouse tastings of old. There will be a lot of kegs but also some special bottles and many many winemakers too.
Plenty of information to come over the next few weeks but book it in the diary if you can, we’d LOVE to see you .

We founded our Uncharted Wines on Beaujolais and the new energy of the London food scene. We couldn’t imagine how much both would soar over the past few years. It’s been a hell of a ride. One thing you can always guarantee is you will find us drinking Beaujolais on the pavement outside on the third Thursday of November. This year we will be drinking a with three growers we founded the company alongside and that continue to progress, adapt, learn and connect to the land they work in the mighty Beaujolais.

Domaine Chapel. We were lucky to have a friend in common with the Chapels, they made a tiny amount of wine on their first vintage and we managed to snaffle a little on our first shipment. They now have established themselves in the region and are doing some amazing work in the vines including the great vineyard of Fleurie Charbonnières. The friend was and we hit another amazing moment next week. As and Sandia will collaborate with on a menu showcasing the dishes of David’s father the culinary great Alain Chapel . There may be a seat or two, it is the wine dinner of the decade (if you love Beaujolais/Lyon then maybe of your life.) 🔗 in bio to nab a seat. The Chapels will be pouring a combination of their 2024 and 2023 wines outside Noble Rot at The Fete du Beaujolais.
Domaine Saint-Cyr
If you’ve had a glass of Beaujolais on tap from us it’s likely had a hand in it, he took on new parcels to feed our thirst for Gamay and had progressed an insane amount in under a decade. From a lesser known grower in the South to a figurehead for Organic farming across the region. He makes many cuvées but pay special attention to his innovation with white wines and the patience it requires to craft them. He has even plugged the gap the Beaujolais had for a great restaurant with Cafe Terroir setting up at the Domaine.
If you’ve don’t make Noble Rot there are around 50 places pouring Raphael’s Nouveau next week so there is a crawl
to be done. Map to follow next week.

Beaujolais chat continues in comments…

Edinburgh!

Alongside some good friends and likeminded importers we are coming to Edinburgh to show some wines.

We’ll be introducing Nicholas Altare, a young winemaker from Piedmont who has quickly become one of the most exciting producers in the region.

Two new wines from Rodrigo Martins will be on show, his old vine Castelao and a skin-contact Alvarinho.

We’ll have Beaujolais from Domaine Chapel, Yann Bertrand, and Raphael Saint Cyr.

If you would like to join us please email [email protected].

New beginnings for an old friend.

Francesco de Filippis agronomist, farmer and winemaker, is the most passionate advocate of organic and biodynamic agriculture we have met.
He has managed farms in both Campania and Tuscany for over 20 years. On Monday for the first time we will show his new project:
Terrante
Biodynamic wines from San Miniato, Tuscany

Portfolio Tasting 3/3/25

Unfortunately will not be at the tasting this year. He’s a busy man, farming an insane amount of Gamay parcels in The Beaujolais organically is a lot. Plus he has a restaurant now too.

But the good news is you will be able to taste the latest vintage of Beaujolais in keg from Raphael alongside over 40 other wines in keg.

This photo is from 7 years ago when we first filled kegs with the Saint Cyr family. The wines were excellent then but now they are some of the finest in region (and they come in 30 litre format).

Domaine Romain Le Bars

We’re delighted to have Romain’s wife Eugenie Tournebize attending the tasting next Monday.
Gaining cult status at a stellar rate, this Domaine has quickly joined a band of young winemakers putting the deep southern Rhône/Gard on the natural wine map. Starting off at Chateau Yvonne (at the same time as Thomas Batardiere) he then honed his style under Eric Pfifferling. Romain makes genre-defying Tavel and Lirac - his zero-zero wines are famed for their lightness and complexity. We’ll be showing the new vintages of the AOC wines to be released early summer, don’t miss tasting the wines from this talented vigneron!
