Here I am again with your July gardening to do list.
There’s still work to be done and seeds to be sown. July is time to think about sowing crops that will be ready late Autumn through to Winter.
What will you be sowing and what jobs are you getting up to?
Make sure you’re harvesting crops especially plants like beans which will produce more once you harvest.
Keep on top of your weeds, we’re finally expecting rain after this very long heatwave which means the weeds will take off.
Water when you can, it is best to water first thing or when it’s cooler in the evening but my rule of thumb is the plants need water so just give it to them 😅
It’s not too late to sow some seeds. These will be late Summer early Autumn crops and into the Winter.
Mulch is your best friend, it helps to conserve moisture but is also a great deterrent
Give your fruiting plants a good feed, you’ll be so happy you did!
