We had such a wonderful Friday evening at idalia.restaurant—truly a night to cherish. From the moment we stepped in, everything felt quite special. The beautiful interior, with its elegant Victoria-style architecture, provided a stunning backdrop, making the entire experience even more memorable.
A heartfelt thanks to Giuseppe Iacona and his fantastic team for their warm hospitality. You made us feel truly welcome and looked after us with such thoughtful care throughout the evening—your attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
The blend of friendly service, a lovely atmosphere, and the unique charm of the venue made for an evening that was both effortlessly elegant and comfortably relaxed. Every element, from the ambiance to the overall setup, showed real passion and professionalism.

The days 2 defined by friendship, thoughtful tasting, and wines of real articulation 🍷✨ Each glass showed precision, balance, and a strong sense of place, shaped by restraint rather than excess. The clarity of fruit, texture, and quiet complexity spoke of careful decisions in both vineyard and cellar. Meeting a winemaker so attuned to their terroir made the experience resonate far beyond the tasting bench. Wine experienced with meaning, not just consumed.

🍷 Pierre Peters Blanc de Blancs – Fresh citrus, fine mousse, and pure Mesnil chalk minerality. Guigal Côte‑Rôtie 2015 –
Currently restrained and quite one‑note, offering subtle hints of dark berry fruit, light black pepper, and a touch of smoked meat. Aromatics feel compact and closed, with limited lift at this stage.
Palate:
The palate mirrors the nose, remaining focused and narrow in expression. Medium‑bodied, with fine but firm tannins, muted dark fruit, gentle spice, and a slightly savoury edge. Structure dominates over fruit, giving a short to medium finish.
Overall:

Started the day at showing my friend around where I work 🌿🍷🏙️
Such a special feeling sharing this beautiful place ✨Then we walked over to 🚶‍♂️🌆 and enjoyed drinks and dinner — everything was absolutely spot on 🥂🍽️😍
Huge thank you to the amazing Restaurant Manager .marti her wonderful team 👏✨, and Chef .ianno with his talented brigade 👨‍🍳🔥 for looking after us so beautifully ❤️After that, we continued the day at 🍸🎶🌇
