SPOTTED 🍇 The Chianti Classico 2021 on the wine list at in Warren Street!

Some wines come with a story, and Le Filigare Chianti Classico 2021 is one of them. This Tuscan estate dates back to the 11th century, once known for its torch-lit gatherings - so legendary that even Pope Pius IX paid a visit. Fast forward to today, and the Cassetti Burchi family has brought it back to life, farming organically and staying true to the land.

Grown at 450–550m altitude in classic galestro and alberese soils, this Sangiovese-led blend is all about bright cherry, plum, and spice, with the kind of balance and finesse that makes Chianti Classico what it is. Aged for 12 months in oak, it’s fresh, structured, and effortlessly elegant 🍇
