Over the Christmas period we had the honour of returning home, seeing firsthand the damage of hurricane Melissa to our beloved island.
We travelled across Westmoreland, Montego Bay and Negril where the damage was felt the most. As you can see in the pictures entire homes, businesses and schools lost. Power, water and wildlife absent.
Agriculture has been hit majorly with much food including ground provisions (plantain, yam, banana etc) being unavailable - in addition to water and power not being restored to the entire island until an estimated June 2026.
We provided cash, clothes, toiletries, games, and school utensils to locals through ours and your donations❤️
The spirit of the locals is undeniable, persevering through something so monumental yet unfortunately life-changing - this island and people are so truly blessed, long may there spirit continue to shine bright.
We likkle but tallahwah💪🏾 Bless the land 876🇯🇲
