I wear many hats ...
Alongside a demanding corporate career, where I work with organisations and clients as a hands on, multi-skilled Consultant Finance Director and Finance Transformation Leader. I am also a multi award winning CEO & Published Author, Financial Literacy Thought Leader and Professional Speaker in the world of finance, accountancy and financial literacy.
Beyond my professional life, I am a wife, mum, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, the list goes on and people often ask me, “How do you manage to do it all?” The honest answer is that I don't always do it all... a great support system at home, church, work and amazind Ariel Financial Literacy Hub team and partners. When you are committed to building something meaningful, some things inevitably have to give. For me, that has often meant sacrificing social time and investing those hours in work that creates impact and contributes to a legacy that will outlive me. It's not always easy but purpose requires discipline, focus and at times, personal sacrifice.
Jobs will come and go and so will titles. However, lives we touch, value we create and the difference we make can endure long after a particular role or season has ended.
As we each navigate our own journeys, we must never lose sight of our “why.” Continue enhancing your skills, strengthening your competence and using your talents and gifts with excellence. Let the quality of your work speak for you in rooms where you are not present and allow your character and results to build a reputation that no title alone could ever create.
The impact may not always be visible immediately, but remain focused and consistent. In the end, results and the legacy we leave behind will speak for themselves.
