Our booked out Valentines event is back!

🥔 We’re dedicating two more whole days to the glorious combination of crisps & w**e — because apparently one weekend wasn’t enough 😂

There will be new combos like Orange w**e + prawn cocktail crisps, plus returning favourites such as scampi fries + English sparkling 🥂 with plenty more delicious pairings to discover.

Prefer to stick with w**e? We’ve got a fantastic selection of German w**es too, including Pinot Noir and Riesling available by the glass.

⏰ Join us for our next tasting - on Wednesday 16th September.

We’ve been discussing this event for some time now, as Grenache has to be one of Matt’s favourite grapes.

From Grenache Noir, to Grenache Blanc - a seriously underrated grape - which produces fuller-bodied White W**es and excellent Orange W**es. There’s even Grenache Gris, the grey/pink-skinned grape which produces those beautiful onion-skinned w**es from the South of France and beyond. Garnacha (Spain) and Garnaxta (Catalunya) will feature too.

We’ll have at least 7 w**es open to taste in a relaxed format, starting at 5pm on Wednesday 16th September.

Tasting through the selection normally takes at least an hour, so last arrivals will be at around 9pm.

We will also be running a smaller scale version of this tasting for parents and carers with baby’s at 12:30pm on the same day

Kicking things off, we’re bringing you a summer evening of live music with our very own Kate Brown followed by local legends Turncoat Billy

FYND will be cooking up a storm in the garden from 4–8pm, so come hungry!

Walk-ins only. It’s set to be a busy one, so get here early to grab your spot.

Fancy joining us for our next tasting? On Wednesday 8th July we are going to explore all things Riesling. A grape that is perfectly suited for the summer.

The format is really informal, we will be opening a minimum of 6 w**es. You can arrive at any time from 6pm, we’ll give you a tasting glass and you can get started on the selection!

A little update for the week ahead… 👇

💒 Tonight we have a private party taking place, so seating will be limited, but the shop will be open as normal.

🍇 Wednesday is our English W**e Week Tasting. Advance tickets have now sold out, but we’ll have space available for walk-ins. Due to school closures during the heatwave, we’ll be opening from 5pm, with the tasting starting from 6pm. Can’t make it down Wednesday - we are serving an all English w**es flight this week ✈️

⏰ Thursday we’ll also be opening a little later than usual — see you from 5pm.

🇹🇭 Saturday sees Noi Abrahams back with us from 4–8pm. Come and enjoy Noi’s amazing Thai food, perfectly paired with some fantastic English w**es.

☀️ We’ve been busy adding plenty of extra shade to help keep everyone comfortable during the heatwave, so apart from a few opening time adjustments, we’ll be here all week serving chilled w**es, cold b**rs, and good times.
