A little update for the week ahead… 👇

💒 Tonight we have a private party taking place, so seating will be limited, but the shop will be open as normal.

🍇 Wednesday is our English Wine Week Tasting. Advance tickets have now sold out, but we’ll have space available for walk-ins. Due to school closures during the heatwave, we’ll be opening from 5pm, with the tasting starting from 6pm. Can’t make it down Wednesday - we are serving an all English wines flight this week ✈️

⏰ Thursday we’ll also be opening a little later than usual — see you from 5pm.

🇹🇭 Saturday sees Noi Abrahams back with us from 4–8pm. Come and enjoy Noi’s amazing Thai food, perfectly paired with some fantastic English wines.

☀️ We’ve been busy adding plenty of extra shade to help keep everyone comfortable during the heatwave, so apart from a few opening time adjustments, we’ll be here all week serving chilled wines, cold beers, and good times.

On May 19th 2021 - following a blur of lockdowns, home-deliveries, online tastings, contract negotiations and building work - we opened Vino Tap. This was the first week that the on-trade had been allowed to open for indoor service for many months, so it was a tumultuous time to say the least!

There have been ups and downs, busy times and quiet ones, but Vino Tap seems to have really found its place in Higham’s Park, and I want to thank our loyal customers and all of the incredible staff who have been with us over the years for making it in to what it is - thank YOU!

For this week’s menu I’ve picked 6 wines which were all on our glass list when we opened five years ago. The wines be open to taste, drink by the glass & take-away, along with £5 fizz all week.

Thank you again for all the support over the last five years. Here’s to the next chapter!

The sun is shining and we’ve got plenty lined up for you over the next few weeks…

🖼️ From Friday – We’re kicking things off with the Highams Park Arts Trail! Join us for the opening party with ice-cold beers, wine, and incredible work on display from and 🎉

🇹🇭 Saturday 9th May – The brilliant is back with their food pop-up, serving from 2pm. Come hungry.

🎨 Sunday 10th May – returns to host a relaxed wine bottle painting workshop. Sip, get creative, and take home your own decorated bottle (or gift it!). Tickets go on sale this afternoon.

🌳 Sunday 17th May – Find us pouring at the Highams Park Spring Festival pop-up bar. Come by and say hello!

👶🏻 Thursday 21st May – Our much-loved Bring Your Baby Tasting is back. Spaces are limited and nearly gone, so don’t miss out.

Thank you again to everyone who bought tickets, donated raffle prizes & volunteered your time. We really love hosting them and it’s so great to see everyone come together to support and help the community. Thanks again Highams Park! ❤️
