Tired of serving the same old sandwiches to your tot? 🥪 Well, Lucy Upton 🍓 Children’s Dietitian & Feeding Specialist shares her favourite nutritious sandwich fillings to keep you inspired...

🥕 Hummus and grated apple or carrot: A perfect plant-based pairing. Hummus is a fantastic source of fibre, healthy fats and iron- paired with Vitamin C-rich fruit or vegetables.

🥪 Tinned salmon and cream cheese: A child-friendly version of a sandwich favourite! Tinned salmon is so overlooked but a fantastic source of brain-boosting omega-3, calcium and paired with cream cheese, it’s a match made in heaven.

🍅 Shredded chicken with pesto and tomato: Leftover chicken is a great source of protein and iron for kids, paired with pesto for flavour, colour and nutrients like fat and tomatoes for vitamin C and antioxidants.

🥙 Chickpea smash: Turn a can of humble chickpeas into a nutritious sandwich filling by mashing them down and combining with yoghurt or mayonnaise and flavourings such as curry powder, mustard or garlic granules. A versatile plant-based option, packed with fibre!

🥑 Egg and avocado: A firm sandwich staple, but instead of using mayo, use some mashed avocado! An easy way to add in extra veggies, healthy fats and fibre.

If you’ve ever stood in the supermarket aisle wondering, “Is this actually a good choice for my little one?”, you’re not alone. 🧡

And when it comes to sugar, “no added sugar” doesn’t always tell the whole story 👀

Fruit purée, fruit juice concentrate, and date paste can all count as free sugars, so it’s worth looking beyond the front of the pack.

Here’s why our Mini Blueberry Muffins are boldly better than similar foods aimed at children on the supermarket shelves…

✔️ Real whole fruit
✔️ No fruit purées or juice concentrates
✔️ Real nutrition
✔️ Developed with a Children’s Dietitian
✔️ Made to nourish, not just fill a gap

Because when we make snacks for little ones, we think about what goes in them, not just what’s left out 🫐

Our promise to you 🧡

We’re a small business, founded by a mum who simply wanted better for her child - and we’re still a small team of mums behind the scenes today.

We’re here because we believe little ones deserve food that’s nourishing, nutritionally balanced, delicious and made with real care.

And we’d never put something on our menu that we wouldn’t happily feed our own children.

No shortcuts. No compromise. Just food to fuel your tots, and make life a little easier for the parents feeding them 🥕
