Homemade hummus, but make it spicy 🌶️

Creamy homemade hummus, topped with a generous drizzle of Sri Lankan Style Chilli Paste, served alongside .uk Crunchy Mushroom Bites. The ultimate dip upgrade.

Save this for your next dip night 👇

YOU’LL NEED:
1 can chickpeas, drained
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup tahini
1 small garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp olive oil (plus extra for serving)
½ tsp ground cumin
Salt, to taste
2–3 tbsp cold water
A generous drizzle of our Sri Lankan Style Chilli Paste 🌶️

METHOD:

1. Blitz tahini and lemon juice first, this is the trick to silky hummus
2. Add olive oil, garlic, cumin and salt, blend until smooth
3. Add chickpeas in two batches, blending until thick
4. Slowly add cold water until perfectly creamy
5. Finish with a swirl of olive oil and a generous drizzle of chilli paste
