If you’re not aware of Dilieto’s and work in the city this is really as good as it gets sandwich wise. The queue is typically 30 people long every lunchtime but as they’ve been doing there thing on Fleet Street for over 100 years you never wait very long at all - Sensational sandwiches rings to mind as they offer it all, this one - Chicken Escalope, roasted mixed peppers, cheese,olives, sundried tomatoes and rocket on foccacia.

Officina 00, not the first time I’ve been doubt it’ll be the last. It’s quintessentially modern Italian food at its best. Sicillian Tuna Ceviche, Orange shallot and chives was lovely - the deep fried raviolo filled with cacio pepe was never going to be bad. The house sausage was of course with chilli and fennel and tasted absolutely delicious with an IPA sauce and pepper. Burrata standard procedure little nduja little mint, star of the show undoubtedly the Ischinata Rabbit Cappelacci, smoked provola, Datterino 😱. Crunchy tiramisu coretto if you cant work out the rest unfollow
