We’re so pleased to share that Anna Hope’s Harvey Jones Original kitchen has won ‘Best Classic Kitchen’ at this year’s House Beautiful UK Real Style Awards!

Our Original design has always been a favourite for adding character to a house, whether it’s a period cottage or something more modern. Here, the cabinetry is paired with rustic tiles and timber, and curtain-fronted cupboards, with room for all the little personal touches that make a house feel lived-in rather than just finished.

What made Anna’s vintage kitchen a winner is that our carpentry team designed the cabinetry around her antiques, rather than asking her pieces to fit a standard layout. So a hundred-year-old French dough bin and hand-built joinery sit together as if they’d always belonged that way.

This kitchen's soft, calm and properly liveable, a real lesson in understated luxury.

The Arabescato Vagli marble splashback is the standout, wrapping around the range cooker in perfect symmetry with the island.

We love how minimal the rest of the space is kept, it gives the whole interior such an elegant, special feel.

Our favourite bit is the bespoke larder - open shelving and a spice rack forming a breakfast bar area, all hidden behind black-framed reeded glass doors.
