Never look down on someone’s work. Never.

I know aunties that clean offices, work care jobs, do whatever it takes — and built houses back home from it. Raised families. Sent kids to university. That is not a small thing. That is everything.

Some people worship titles. I worship the person that gets up every morning and grafts. Whether you love what you do or not — if you are out there doing something, you have my full respect.

It is not always glamorous. Most of the time it is not. But hard work is hard work and I will never look down on that.

Some mornings I pull up to Royal Wharf and before I have even finished setting up, the little ones are already running over saying hi.
No corporate booking in the world tops that feeling. Not one.

And this landed in my messages yesterday, the day after my book launched. I cannot tell you what it means to read something like this 🖤

hat an honour. We had the absolute pleasure of catering for Google's African Day celebration — a beautiful soirée-style evening draped in terracotta, gold and lush greenery. 🌿

We brought the flavours of Nigeria and Afro-fusion cuisine to life through an elegant selection of canapés and warm dishes all presented on a minimalist display that let the food, the colours and the culture do the talking. 🖤🌍
