Killa Waffles

Killa Waffles is flipping the script on comfort food—serving up guilt-free goodness that hits hard on flavor and light on the junk.

Born from the belief that food should fuel you, not weigh you down! Find us street food markets and festivals. If you’re planning a special event, private party or business meeting, we could do the work in the kitchen for you and deliver an outstanding service! Matilda’s waffles are heart-healthy for several reasons by including nutritious toppings and ingredients like flaxseed, fresh fruits, courgette, jumbo oats, natural yogurt...
Waffles that are crispy on the outside soft on the inside, and are served warm.

This one has an even bigger story behind it. ❤️

I first met Nick Liftingweightscleaningplates during lockdown, when Killa Waffles was taking orders through messages and somehow trying to keep everything going through that crazy time. He was one of our customers back then long before he became a YouTuber and started taking on food challenges. 😂💪🍔

Fast forward a few years, and while we were Roost Chicken Championships , Nick surprised me with one of the most thoughtful presents I’ve ever received this incredible, completely hand-drawn picture of Jimmy, our Killa Waffles truck. 🥹🛻❤️
I had no idea at the time that it had come all the way from Germany Cool Car Drawings✍️🇱🇻 or that it was completely hand drawn and totally one of a kind. Knowing how much time and thought went into it makes it even more special.
There are presents you receive and there are presents you genuinely never forget. This is definitely one of those.
From meeting during lockdown, to watching both of our journeys change so much over the years… it makes this gift mean even more. ❤️
And yes this one already made it to America with us. 🇺🇸❤️ It came with the things that mattered most.
One day, if we open our Killa Waffles restaurant, I already know exactly where it belongs hanging proudly on the wall. 🧇🔥
Thank you, Nick. I’ll treasure this forever. ❤️

P.S. The photo was taken on the day Jimmy left our old house in the UK to begin his journey to America. ❤️🇬🇧➡️🇺🇸 Makes this picture feel even more special now.

And just like that… our UK chapter came to an end. ❤️🇬🇧➡️🇺🇸
Jimmy left our old house and made his way down to Southampton, ready for the biggest journey of his life.
Then on 18th August, he officially began his journey across the Atlantic by ship, heading back to the country where he was originally built. 🛻🚢🇺🇸
Watching that happen made everything feel very real.
So many memories are tied to that truck thousands of miles, countless events, crazy long days, queues, festivals, awards, laughter, stress, amazing customers and some unforgettable moments.
And now, after all those years in Europe, this 1941 American Army truck is finally heading home to the USA.
We only landed in Florida few days ago 😂🌴 so we’re still very much in the “what on earth are we doing?” stage of the move!
Jimmy is still making his way across the Atlantic and is due to arrive in the USA around mid-October. 🚢🇺🇸
So for now, we’re here getting ourselves settled, starting the paperwork and preparing for his arrival.
Once Jimmy gets here, that’s when the real work begins getting him rebuilt, changing equipment, meeting all the US regulations and getting Killa Waffles ready to trade again.
There is still a LOT to do, and we’re learning everything from scratch over here… but one step at a time, it’s happening. ❤️🔥🧇
But this is not goodbye to the UK. 🇬🇧❤️
Killa Waffles was built there, and a huge part of our heart will always stay there. We’ll be back whether that’s for events, collaborations or something completely unexpected in the future.
So please don’t go anywhere… this story is far from finished.
For now, we’re taking you with us on this new adventure the move, the chaos, Jimmy’s arrival, his transformation and hopefully the moment Killa Waffles serves its first customers in America. 🌴🇺🇸
UK chapter complete.
Florida chapter loading…
Same Killa Waffles. Same Jimmy. Just a different side of the Atlantic. 🔥🧇🛻

We’re slowly going through all the photos and incredible memories from our final events in the UK… and last but certainly not least look who we had the chance to meet and serve Roost Chicken Championships 🤩🔥
The amazing Adam Richman an absolute American food legend! 🇺🇸 We spent years watching Man v. Food, so meeting him in person and having him try Killa Waffles was such a surreal and unforgettable moment! 🧇🍗😍🙏❤️
And now, with us flying to America in just a few days, this photo feels even more special… perhaps it was a little sign of what’s waiting for us across the pond! ✈️🇺🇸
A huge thank you to Tod Eating With Tod, Alex and everyone involved in Roost London for organising such an amazing event and giving us the opportunity to be part of it. We made some incredible memories, met wonderful people and finished our UK journey on such a high! ❤️
America, get ready!!!! Killa Waffles is coming! 🧇🍗🔥

Look who stopped by for some Killa Waffles! 😍 The absolutely lovely Josie Gibson! Josie Gibson ❤️
What a genuinely warm, funny and down-to-earth woman exactly as she comes across on TV! It was such a pleasure meeting her and serving her one of our waffle cones. Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting us, Josie! 🙏🧇🍗
And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, we also had the gorgeous Perrie Oxlade-Chamberlain from Little Mix as a customer! 🤩 Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to get a photo with her, but what an incredible way to finish our final UK festival!
Big Feastival, you really gave us a weekend to remember! ❤️😭🇬🇧🇺🇸

I HAD to share this picture! 😂😭❤️
It made me laugh and cry at the same time… This lovely lady waited THREE YEARS for her first Killa Waffle! That might officially be the longest queue we’ve ever had! 😂🧇
Big Feastival, you were absolutely incredible! 🙏❤️
We hadn’t traded there since 2023, and I’ll be honest. I had a little feeling that maybe you had forgotten about Killa Waffles and we would have to start all over again…
Well… you definitely proved me wrong! The love we received was completely overwhelming. The queues, the smiles, the kind words and everyone telling us how happy they were to see us back it meant more than you will ever know. 🥹❤️
We were two members of staff down, and I only found out on Friday… probably a good thing, because otherwise I might have had a heart attack before we even opened! 😂 But my incredible team the six of us stepped up and absolutely smashed it! I couldn’t be prouder of you. You worked unbelievably hard and gave everything you had. Thank you! 🙏🔥
We made the difficult decision to close for one hour during the day so the team could eat and rest, while we restocked and prepared everything properly. We wanted to continue serving you the same quality throughout the entire day, without cutting corners and thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we did that. ❤️
Big Feastival , thank you for remembering us. Thank you for welcoming us back with so much love, and thank you for making our final UK festival one we will never forget.
We laughed, we cried, we nearly collapsed… but we bloody did it! 😂😭❤️
And to the lady in this picture I’m so happy you finally got your Killa Waffle, three years later! I hope it was worth the wait! 😂🧇
We love you all. This isn’t goodbye… it’s just the beginning of our next adventure. 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
