SUMMER CLOSING!
Another reminder that just like in previous years, each shop will be closing for a week during August. This is mainly so the lads can have a well deserved break and also top up their tans! But don’t panic, one of the shops will remain open while the other is closed, so you can still get your fill of meaty goodness!
Our South Ealing branch will be closed first from the 11th -19th August. Our Pitshanger branch will be closed the following week, between the 18th - 25th August. We also have posters on the doors.
Feel free to contact the relevant shop with any questions or requirements, to place an order, or even just for a friendly chat! Take care, happy summer holidays!

So the UK is gradually shifting toward predominantly white eggs largely due to efficiency and cost factors in modern farming. White egg–laying hens, such as the White Leghorn, tend to require less feed and produce eggs more efficiently than the brown egg–laying breeds traditionally favored in the UK. With rising production costs and pressure to keep food prices affordable, many farmers are adopting these more economical birds. Additionally, consumer perceptions are slowly changing—while brown eggs were once seen as more “natural,” shoppers are becoming more open to white eggs as long as quality and welfare standards remain high.

STAY INFORMED GUYS ❤️🐓

Exciting news!! First off wanna say happy birthday to our Cameron! if you pop past the shop feel free to pop in and wish him a happy birthday

in other news this years turkeys have officially been moved out of the brooding sheds. farmers work tirelessly to make sure that these guys have the best upbringing, start from day old chicks in small barns to the barns gradually getting larger and larger until they are fully matured and are able to venture the great outdoors. Now in order to prevent foxes and predators eating them the farmers bring them in in the evening much like our free range chickens.

Let us know if you can spot your Christmas turkey in the crowd 😂😂 taking orders from next week 👀😂
