Truly marking the end of tomato season with this cake - served at .sc supper club fft(3)
Tomato red velvet sponge with basil and tomato leaf swiss meringue buttercream. Drizzled with more t.leaf + basil oil and sprinkled with blackcurrant powder. All vegan.

I made this plant-based adaption of knafeh (a p*lestinian sweet cheese dessert with a crispy ktaife shell, drizzled with orange blossom and rose syrup, some freekeh flatbread and with the help of we designed a freekeh tea cocktail. more info to follow soon

It's nearing strawberry season and summer solstice !! ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒž

This is a midsommartรฅrta I made for last year, a Swedish cake to celebrate the longest day of the year. A vanilla sponge filled with custard and covered in whipped cream and strawberries and cake crumbs on top.

All plant-based ! The request was for a not-so-sweet citrus poppy seed drizzle with lavender, so of course I had to include kumquats as they compliment the earthy poppy seeds and fragment lavender so well ! Kumquats are like a mini sour orange which you can eat whole.
