Thanks to funding from the Government's Common Ground Award, we've replaced the old timber access ramp with a new concrete slope and metal handrails.

The Classroom is one of the busiest spaces on the Farm, used for school visits, Greencare sessions and community groups throughout the year. This upgrade will provide safer, more reliable access for years to come while making the building more welcoming for everyone.

Another big thank you to Michal from Quality Outdoor Rooms who completed the work - and who you might recognise from our recent blog about the transformation of our Café garden!

📣 STEPNEY HONEY! 📣..
Our onsite beekeeper Volker has been hard at work - along with his industrious bee colonies. He's harvested 100 jars of honey made right here on the Farm, which will be for sale at our Saturday market stall tomorrow. ..
Hurry over, when it's gone it's gone! 🐝

Have you heard of the Tower Hamlets Right to Grow campaign?

“The Right to Grow” requires local authorities to maintain a free, accessible map of all public land that is suitable for community cultivation or wildlife projects. And to make it straight-forward for community groups to bid for land should the authority decide to sell it, and to secure free (peppercorn) leases.

They organised a tour of the Farm in June to show off our growing fields, led by Lois, our Communities Programme Manager and Tahmina, one of our Food Growers.
