Yes you can feed some of our animals!
But there's a few important things to think about, such as where can you buy the food, how much does it cost, what's in it, which animals can you feed?

Ever wondered about some of the staff-only spaces on Stepney City Farm?
If you’ve ever passed the Farm on Garden Street, you may have noticed our beautiful main growing field. Access to this space needs to be restricted due to rules about hygiene and food growing on a working farm, and to protect crops from accidental trampling.
But this month, we thought we’d give you a bit of a peak behind the scenes at some of the things visitors don’t always get to see, with Food Grower Alan’s photo blog chronicling our quiet spaces throughout the abundant 2026 growing season.

$tepney City Farm came 4th overall in the Livestock and Young Handlers Section at this year's London Harvest Festival.

Of course, it's all about the taking part that counts, but Stepney City Farm came 2nd overall in the Horticulture Section and won 1st, 2nd and 3rd's in the different categories.

We are super happy to share that our Thursday yoga sessions now have some fabulous yoga mats!

Big thanks to MoreYoga for donating these mats to us.

If you fancy joining our community yoga session with Tor Park Yoga, no need to bring your own mat anymore, and everyone is welcome, whether you’re an absolute beginner or have been practicing for a while.

Thanks to funding from the Government's Common Ground Award, we've replaced the old timber access ramp with a new concrete slope and metal handrails.

The Classroom is one of the busiest spaces on the Farm, used for school visits, Greencare sessions and community groups throughout the year. This upgrade will provide safer, more reliable access for years to come while making the building more welcoming for everyone.

Another big thank you to Michal from Quality Outdoor Rooms who completed the work - and who you might recognise from our recent blog about the transformation of our Café garden!

Our onsite beekeeper Volker has been hard at work - along with his industrious bee colonies. He's harvested 100 jars of honey made right here on the Farm, which will be for sale at our Saturday market stall tomorrow. ..
