Orbit Beers Brewery & Taproom Brewing classic European-style beers from our railway arches in Walworth since 2014.

Our taproom is at Arch 233 Fielding Street, SE17 3HD, open Wednesday-Sunday. The current kitchen is Dragon Flame BBQ as of October 2025 (replaced Kato Kitchen and Cue Point Kitchen).

Join us for the launch of the seasonal Orbit Red Ale on cask at the Old Justice on Wednesday 14th October. Live Trad Session starts at 7pm and the Red Ale will be pouring on both keg and cask!

The Red Ale is a white label series special that has a distinctive, unique characteristic from Sorachi Ace, a hop variety developed in Japan in the 1970s. Deep red in colour, this autumnal ale has a malty, caramel base with an abundance of hop character. Sorachi Ace hops provide hints of coconut, lemon, dill, coriander, and a touch of oak, with the Citra hops delivering a hit of grapefruit citrus.

This week, we’re releasing a limited edition Extra Special Bitter (ESB) on cask, brewed in collaboration with heritage maltsters French & Jupps and three fantastic South London pubs: The Shirker’s Rest, The Green Goddess, and The Rusty Bucket.

We collaborated on the 2026 'Shirk, Rust, and Pray' b**r, when you can take the free pub bus between all three venues throughout the day, sampling different b**rs at each place. And we decided it was about time we brewed something seasonal together, with some input from everyone.

For this b**r, we teamed up with French & Jupps Malting French & Jupps Roasted Malt Specialists, a family-run heritage maltings with a history dating back to 1810.

They’re known for their handcrafted specialty roasted malts, and they recommended and supplied us with the best Light Caramel Malt and Chocolate Malt for this ESB recipe, with James joining us for the brew day!

The b**r will be available from 16th September, just in time for National Cask Ale Week CAMRA London

You'll see it in our collaboration venues as the affectionately named 'South London Orbit Bitter' or S.L.O.B, which the Shirker's team were particularly happy about!

You'll find it on at The Shirker’s Rest from 16th September, The Green Goddess from 25th September, and The Rusty Bucket Pub throughout
the week.

It will then be on from Wednesday 23rd at Orbit B**rs taproom too, with a b**r quiz on the night from 6pm.

We had good fun collaborating with some of the team on the brew day! With everyone getting stuck or expertly supervising, in between bacon sarnies, pizza, and 'b**r sampling' of course.

We hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we enjoyed making it!

The Harvest Festival is back!

It's the second edition of Orbit B**rs' Harvest Festival at the taproom on Saturday 26th September, and we'll be launching the new seasonal Festbier on the day as well. You'll get a free pint of the new b**r with your locals card too (find out more on the website or ask at the bar).

We'll spend the day celebrating la**rs, with Nico, Orbit Festbier, and two traditional German guest Festbiers on tap: Zötler & Allgauer!
flame.bbq BBQ are cooking up some sausage specials, we've heard that the lollipop sausage and the spicy beef sausage might be on the menu! The conkers tournament is also back, so bring your trusty favourite along or risk it with one of ours at the taproom. And Unemployable Welsh Scum will be DJing for us in the evening, so it should be a lively one.

We're collecting donations for Southwark local food bank, so if you have any of the following items to bring along and donate, we would be very grateful:

The New Festbier:
Orbit’s take on a Bavarian festival l***r. A blend of Vienna malt, l***r malt, and Bohemian pilsner malt lay down aromas of fresh bread, honey, crackers, and biscuits. The very subtle addition of Cherry Ember Smoked Malt adds a depth of character, bringing a faint hint of woodsmoke that lifts the other malt aromas rather than dominates. Think freshly baked bread from a wood-fired oven rather than smoky bacon or peat.

Tettnang and Perle provide a traditional German hop profile, offering soft floral and spicy aromas, and a clean herbal bitterness to finish. A warm golden colour with a lasting white head, this 5.2% Festbier is the perfect pairing for good food and good company.

EVENT // Inverted Audio takes over Orbit B**rs Taproom on Saturday 5th September, 8pm till 11:30pm, for a chilled, all-vinyl evening. DJ Antepop is joined by a crew of loyal Inverted Audio customers behind the decks, spinning ambient, deep house and dub techno for a slow-building night built for a taproom rather than a dancefloor. Dragon Flame BBQ will be serving food throughout, with Orbit's taps pouring as usual.
