A Great Design 🌊🐉🌸
It’s the end of an era. I finally sold my very last bottle of the very much loved Aranami Strength gin, and with a heavy heart, I won’t be distilling any more for the foreseeable future. 💔
Since I first created Aranami Strength 7 years ago in 2019, I never expected the sort of response I received. It really made waves (pun intended) in the craft gin scene, particularly across Instagram at the time. Since then, it has gone on to win multiple awards, including Best Navy Strength at the World Gin Awards, no less than 3 Stars at the Great Taste Awards, and a Gold medal from the IWSC.
I’ve felt so incredibly proud of what I created, and hugely thankful for the community I was swept into through Hidden Curiosities gin. I made some great connections with people who really appreciated Aranami for what it was, and it’s been wonderful to see it enjoyed by so many of you over the years.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone for all the noise, enthusiasm and support you gave this creation. It’s honestly been one of the most wonderful and unforgettable experiences, and something I’ll treasure going forward.
I’m not quite sure why it’s affected me so much, but it feels incredibly bittersweet to say sayonara to Aranami. It was such a special creation, born from my time living in Japan, and it has always felt particularly close to my heart.
I’ve kept back a couple of bottles for myself as a memento, but apart from that, it’s time to say goodbye, Aranami! 🌊🍸
