A little behind-the-scenes update for the brewery geeks 👀🍺

We’ve installed a new chiller this week. It’s quieter and more efficient, helping us keep the fermentation process at the right temperature. You might not notice it in your pint, but it’s an important part of what goes into making it.

Ever wondered what happens to all the spent grain after we’ve brewed your b**r?

At the next Brewers’ Social on Thursday 24th September, we will be pouring a cask of our flagship pale ale Upright (4% ABV) - normally only available on keg.

It’s something we’ve done before (but not for ages!) and all loved, and we think it’s a b**r which works really well on handpour!

The lovely golden malts (CaraGold and a sprinkling of oats) develop a richer, fuller texture with the softer carbonation, and the generous dose of Citra, Centennial and Mosaic hops really shines at the warmer serving temperature.

As always, this cask of Upright will be gluten free too.
