Natural refrigeration ❄️🍷
But let’s talk about something people don’t realize…
Some red wines are actually meant to be served slightly chilled.
Light- to medium-bodied reds (think fresh, fruit-forward styles) shine around 55–60°F. A slight chill enhances acidity, brightens fruit, and makes the wine feel more refreshing — especially in winter when our homes are overheated.
Room temperature doesn’t mean 72° living room temperature. It means old-world cellar temperature.
Snow in the glass? Debatable.
A proper chill? Absolutely.
Would you try a chilled red?
