Back in stock, and right in time for warmer, longer days! Syfany Winery’s André Pet Nat 2024, , from the southern part of Czech Republic - a ruby-coloured sparkling wine! The grape variety André, brings plenty of juicy, gorgeous bursts of blue and black berries with a hint of rhubarb and red grapefruit on the finish! Crunchy and perfect to channel some Spring vibes into your drinking arsenal!

Krásná Hora’s Pink 2023, from Moravia, the Czech Republic, is back in stock! A favourite of so many, rightly so, as it’s a great alternative to pale rose’s - Pink is super fresh and vibrant with a clean finish but with a little bit of that extra oomph - plenty of a ‘strawberries and cream’ vibe goin on! Lovely presence on the palate and a lingering finish! So much more than just being a ‘pink’ wine. 😉

Syfany’s Frankovka aka Blaüfrankisch 2021 from Moravia, Czech Republic, is a kind of wine which shows how Frankovka can be such a versatile grape that shines with bottle age and develops giving the most nuanced wines! Taking a very Syrah and Pinot Noir-esque expression.

Syfany, this family-owned winery and vineyards, our one of the finest examples of wines coming from Central Europe.

New line up from Max Sein Wein, Franken, Germany, have arrived! We have already been out and about tasting these, and they are as vibrant and delicious as always! Max’s approach to winemaking is to start with the best fruit meticulously farmed following organic viticulture on limestone, chalk soils giving wines a good backbone and precise character. Max allows the wines to shine, with pure, focused expressions, staying away from any unnecessary interventions!

With wines sporting new native names, and new cuvées added, there’s plenty to choose from.

New line up from Jaroslav Osička, Moravia, Czech Republic, has landed, and the wines are tasting superb! Always such a treat with incredible personality and focussed wines! From a lighter chillable red, to more nuanced whites, an orange that is so elegant - the wines are complex, textured and layered! A treat.

Jaroslav Springer, , family definitely know a thing or two about the Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays that they specialise in. With perfect growing conditions and with Moravia, Czech Republic, being on the same latitude as Alsace and Champagne, the quality, consistency and character in the wine is noticeable!

Their Chardonnay’s are elegant, complex, with a nice concentration with a perfect balance with the fruit, ripeness and intelligent use of a combination of French barriques and barrels.

The Pinot Noirs have an incredible depth, power and persistence on the palate. With some bottle age as well on them, expect lovely complexity in the wine.

These wines are what made us delve deeper into wines of the Czech Republic and opened our eyes to the potential of outstanding wines and illustrious history of winemaking from these regions.

One of the most anticipated wines from our portfolio has landed from Annamaria Reka.Koncz. From the most Eastern part of Hungary on the border with Ukraine - from wild vineyards, old, gnarly vines, and vibrant, alive soils made up of volcanic matter, all this equals an incredible energy and wines that are just so riveting!

We have the following in stock: Disorder 2022 100% Furmint; Disorder 2023 100% Hárslevelű; Eastern Accents 2022 blend of Hárslevelű and Furmint; Ora 2023 40% blend comprising Királyleányka, Rhein Riesling, Hárslevelű plus 60% of Furmint, and finally, the superb expression of her Kékfrankos 2022, almost sold out, and 2024 (aka Blaüfrankisch or now as many of you know it as Frankovka from what’s it’s called in Czech Republic and Slovakia), almost like a delicate dance between Syrah and Pinot Noir with a long, lingering finish! Delicious!

We can’t wait for you to try these - a perfect treat for these colder, darker days and nights!

These birch saps are a thing of beauty, the birch sap is collected at the start of spring in the Bohemian Highlands in the Czech Republic, gently, slowly macerated or steeped with wild harvested, foraged or ingredients sourced such as plants/flowers/herbs. Jan Klimeš, is the maker and mind behind these really special bottles. We love how nothing is altered or any sugar used to mask or “add” extra flavour. It’s pure, how nature intended it to be!

Flavours we now have available are Yuzu, Rose, Match and Apple Skins. Also in new half bottles, once opened they are good to stay in the fridge for up to three-four days.

We will be out and about tasting these with trade, and will be available on our website really soon for everyone too!

Beyond excited to have these wines from from the Czech Republic back in stock! The 2024s of her Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris (new addition), Riesling, in whites, are just outstanding as always. When a Sauvignon Blanc is done right - you know you are in a good place. The Pinot Noir 2023 with a touch more age is vibrant and alive and captures the soul of Pinot Noir beautifully.

All from her unpruned, wild vines, the energy and movement in them is as good as we remember it from the last release. 💫

Introducing DOUSED: A Sensorial Supper. The incredibly talented is putting together a six course menu to celebrate the season’s best ingredients, foraged by herself and supplied by .london alongside wines from us . A dj set by Shoko Yoshida will create the soundscape, whilst .aromatherapy designs the scents that accompany the night. A collaborative evening with some of Josie’s favourite creatives for one night only.

Newness from Petr Koráb, Moravia - Czech Republic, has landed! Perfect for this change of seasons - whites are rounder, fuller and so elegant on the finish. The Karmazín - Frankovka (Blaüfrankisch) has always got a gorgeous ethereal lift to it with complexity and fine structure with touch of violet and black cherries! So beautiful - a red variety that delivers so high. Petr’s wines always strike the right balance between drinkability and precise, elegant expressions! Someone once said, “he never seems to have an inconsistent vintage.” We can’t agree more, year after year the expressions and consistency in quality is great!

These wines are all available at the moment for trade and we will be showing them at our trade tasting on the 15th of September at .
