Since 2005 The UK Sommelier Association, has been providing professional sommelier courses built on the foundations and the principles of the Italian Sommelier Association, which itself has offered w**e education since 1965. With such heritage and culture in its genes and with expert and qualified mentoring by accredited w**e professionals, Masters of W**e, Master Sommeliers, we have become synonymous with passing on the art of ‘sommelierie’, along with w**e knowledge and appreciation of fine w**es, sake and spirits. Based in Central London, we hold our acclaimed 6 month course creating a relaxed and informal atmosphere. A convenient setting for a unique and complete journey for passionate w**e enthusiasts who desire a career change, for those seeking to advance in their careers, expanding their w**e knowledge and perfecting their palates, or those simply wishing to deepen their enjoyment of w**e. It’s that time of the year again! We’re getting closer to one of the important moments in the UK sommelier calendar: the Best UK Sommelier Villa Sandi Award.

A day celebrating the skill, knowledge and talent of sommeliers, and an opportunity for the hospitality and w**e industry to come together, connect and support one another.

Alongside the competition, we’ll have a walkaround tasting with an exciting selection of w**es, as well as masterclasses designed to share knowledge.

It’s an important day for the trade, bringing together the on-trade, off-trade, producers, importers, sommeliers, educators and w**e professionals from across the industry.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Middle Temple, London, on 12 October, and, of course, especially the talented competitors who will take the stage to compete for the Best UK Sommelier Villa Sandi Award.
