This month, we celebrate the arrival of our new season olive oil! In today’s 🌿NEWSLETTER🌿 meet our olive oil producers, Yiorgos and his son Nikos and learn what’s special about our olive oil!
🌿It is made in a single-estate, in an organic farm in Sparta
🌿It is single-vatiety, from the famous Koroneiki, the royal type of olives
🌿All of our olives are hand-picked to ensure the best quality is selected
🌿Early-harvest, produced from September and only until November, retaining chlorophyll and nutrients from the olives that disappear as the olives mature
🌿Pressed at low temperatures always below 22C and within a few hours of being picked (Most extra virgin olive oils are extracted up to 27C and within 48 hours)
🌿Natural 4-month sedimentation process to preserve all nutrients
🌿Rich in antioxidants, with a very low acidity
🌿Extremely high-phenolic olive oil (While a standard olive oil will have around 150-250 mg/kg, our 18°C contains 1,825 mg/kg of natural polyphenols, and our 22°C 1,285 mg/kg)
