Discover a jewel of California’s Central Coast 💎

Edna Valley is a true gem on California’s Central Coast. With vineyards sitting just five miles from the Pacific Ocean, they have spent over 30 years perfecting w**es that belong in this cool maritime climate – starting with their benchmark Chardonnay. Over the decades, they’ve brought that same coastal expertise to crafting an equally impressive Pinot Noir.

The Pinot Noir leads with vibrant notes of blackberry compote, black cherry, and cranberry, carrying a smooth texture and rich, fruity character. In contrast, the Chardonnay balances a rich yet crisp palate, unfolding with ripe flavours of white peach, apricot, and melon, alongside a subtle hint of spice.

A lesser-known region, delivering authentic California w**e craftsmanship at exceptional value.

Ready to explore the Central Coast? Pop into store this weekend to chat all things California w**e with the ream, or even find a perfect pairing for dinner 🍷

🚨NEW Top of the Drops! 🚨

Discover Graham Beck Brut for an incredible £11.50. Affectionately known as the ‘President's Choice’, as it was served at both Nelson Mandela’s inauguration and Barack Obama’s presidential win. It’s made with the Méthode Cap Classique, the same method used to make Ch*****ne, resulting in a lovely brioche richness from its second fermentation in the bottle.

Don’t miss the iconic Caves d'Esclans 'Whispering Angel' Provence Rosé for an amazing £17. Sacha Lichine is the visionary behind the modern rosé revolution. At Château d’Esclans, he pioneered the techniques that turned Provence rosé, and the legendary Whispering Angel, into a global benchmark for excellence.

If you’re looking for a showstopping Ch*****ne, save £13 on a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Brut, now only £43. With an outstanding history, it rose to fame when Madame Clicquot transformed her late husband’s business into the must-have Ch*****ne of European courts. Today, it remains a must-have for any occasion.

To celebrate National Port Day this week, our Master of W**e, Jane Masters MW, recommends Taylor’s Fine White Port, sourced from the steep, high-altitude slopes of the Douro 🇵🇹

“National Port Day is the perfect excuse to revisit Taylor’s, a house whose commitment to environmental sustainability in the Douro is just as impressive as their w**es. Aged in oak vats for three years, this is a classic smooth, full-bodied white Port with exceptional purity.

Taylor’s has been exclusively making Port for well over three centuries. This w**e opens with rich aromas of mellow fruit, layered with subtle hints of honey and oak. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, carrying the honeyed flavours through to a long, smooth finish. Serve well-chilled on its own alongside roasted almonds or marinated olives, or mix with premium tonic over ice with a slice of orange and a sprig of mint.

Established in 1692, Taylor’s is one of the oldest Port houses, remaining family-managed for over three centuries. Set against the dramatic slopes of the Douro Valley, the estate leads the region in ecological stewardship. They have earned both the prestigious BES Biodiversity Prize and the National Reference for Sustainability Certification for their pioneering work and as founders of the Porto Protocol, a global w**e community committed to tackling climate change, they continue to set a remarkably high standard for environmental responsibility.”

Try Taylors Fine White Port today for just £13.50 when you Mix Any Six or More in store and online: www.majestic.co.uk/w**es/taylors-fine-white-50cl-16022
