Last week, we had the pleasure of delivering two events for the opening of ‘Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait’ at the .   The first marked the exhibition’s official launch, held on what would have been the American actress’ 100th birthday. A few days later, we returned for an exclusive private view, serving a selection of Italian-inspired small bites from our cicchetti food stall as guests explored the exhibition.   Set against the backdrop of one of the gallery’s most anticipated exhibitions this year, both events celebrated the enduring legacy of a true cultural icon while bringing together art and hospitality.   ‘Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait’ is now open to the public. Today, on St. George’s Day, traditionally marks the start of British asparagus season — a fleeting moment that signals the true arrival of spring 🌿

Falling within Earth Month, it’s also a timely reminder of why we champion seasonality at Rocket. Each dish is thoughtfully developed by our chefs to celebrate ingredients at their peak.

A standout from our Spring-Summer menu, our Norfolk Asparagus is a true expression of the season. Nori butter–poached spears bring gentle umami and depth, balanced with delicately pickled French white asparagus for brightness and contrast. A concentrated asparagus purée intensifies the flavour, while toasted brioche adds warmth and texture, finished with a silky seaweed sabayon.

Perfect for spring weddings and early-season dining, it quietly sets the tone for a menu rooted in exceptional British produce.

We were incredibly honoured to be part of the reopening of the newly transformed Gilbert Galleries at V&A South Kensington recently. ✨

Our guests enjoyed an exclusive preview of the private collections followed by a canapé reception while our team worked behind the scenes to prepare the Dome for dinner.

We served some of our favourite dishes from our new Spring-Summer menu including the Pea & Broad Bean Tart, Devon Seabream, and the London Honey Fig Delice to finish.

What a gorgeous night and with our calendars filling up, we’re getting more and more excited for another season of fantastic events.

Twice a year, we reimagine our menus around the seasons, and Spring-Summer is where British produce truly shines. From Norfolk asparagus to ChalkStream trout and Hereford beef, we build every dish from the ingredient up, balancing creativity, seasonality, and what works beautifully at scale for events.

The came alive for the opening of ‘Marie Antoinette Style’, where guests dined and celebrated in true Versailles fashion. 🥂

We welcomed guests with flutes of champagne and an incredible array of delicate canapés before sitting down to an indulgent three-course dinner in the magnificent Raphael Gallery. The evening drew to a close with tea and the perfect finishing touch: macarons, a nod to the ill-fated French queen’s sweet tooth.

It was a feast as elegant as the exhibition itself, and we were truly honoured to play a part in such a spectacular celebration. ✨
