Heapwell Superfoods Heapwell Superfoods is a family owned and operated business based in the United Kingdom. We were in search of a way to add value to people’s lives.

We specialise in supplying high quality super foods, sourced from Japan (Matcha Green Tea), India, and South America. We believe in healthy living and wanted to boost the idea of nutrition for everyone at affordable rates. In this pursuit, we came across matcha. After a lot of research, we reached Kyoto, Japan in order to experience the magic of organic matcha first-hand. Meet Tanaka-san and Naoki-san, the tea farmer and tea master behind Tenmyo. 🍵

This September, we visited them in Wazuka, Kyoto, spending time in the fields and listening as they shared more about the tea we bring to you.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll share more from our visit, the fields, the traditional tencha factory, and a short conversation with the makers themselves.

Took a little break from posting and social media to spend time with my little family. Between that and taking three express classes, I’ve had a lot going on 😭 I’m so ready for this semester to end lol. But I’m back with a lemongrass matcha 🍵

Obsessed with my new sifter beads, chashaku, and sifter ring! Thank you for sending them to me! I’ve been waiting patiently for the dumpling release because they’re so cute 😭😭.

Also, thank you for sending me your matchas to try. I opened the imperial matcha first, and really enjoyed it. It’s smooth and creamy with a nice umami forward, with some vegetal notes, and little to no bitterness or astringency. Such a great everyday matcha, especially for lattes. 🍵💚

Everything featured was kindly gifted, but all thoughts are my own. 🫶🏼
