t’s Tuesday which means we’re back in the tent! This week is audience choice week so for this ‘Bake Off But Make It Vegan’ of course I asked YOU what you wanted to see and here are the results 🥁 🥁 🥁

Season - Halloween (of course) with 73% of the vote
Ingredient - salted caramel with 50% of the vote
Theme - Nostalgia with 57% of the vote

So for our challenges this week we have -
Signature - salted caramel cupcakes
Technical - school cake (purely for the challenge of getting the icing the perfect consistency so it’s slightly spreadable but also doesn’t all drip off the cake)
Showstopper - Halloween Spider Web Cake

Last week was biscuit week and my choices for the three challenges were -

Signature - decorated sandwich biscuits

Each week I will take the weeks Bake Off theme and share three recipes that I think would be right at home in the tent!

This week is Cake Week! I’ve picked a salted caramel chocolate cake, lemon drizzle loaf cake and a chocolate dipped strawberry cake 🍰

When you need a little sweet treat while you’re on the motorway 😂 the vegan pastries at Gloucester services were so good! We had a pistachio croissant and a chocolate swirl. My only complaint is they were out of almond croissants 😭
