I was invited by luxury bespoke tailors to support their evening with Ranger’s Legends.

We provided their guests with Johnnie Walker Black Label Vanilla Espresso Old Fashioneds & Johnnie Walker Black Label Elderflower Highballs alongside single malts from the 4 Corners of Scotland.

A great night & a great opportunity I look forward to doing again.

I’m not a cocktail bar tender. I have never shaken a cocktail behind a bar for money.
Shaking others things for money is the subject of different post for a different time.
But I love learning, as with music I love to finding out the origins of the things I talk about.
And a screen is good but paper is better.
Especially when it was created by people you know and respect.
Another of my rules for life is “if a friend creates something, and you can buy it… then do it… it will help them do more…”

Funny how things roll around…
Spent many fantastic years in MCR… during which got to meet some legends like the incredible
It’s been a long road since The Dpercussion festival and seeing Domino Bones…
But he’s still a great raconteur telling great stories and with all the time in the world for the people who want to meet him and swap stories of years past…
It was a pleasure to meet him again this Summer… this time in Leith

So today was a Parma ham, rocket and burrata focaccia from The Sicilian Pastry Shop (and a spinach arancino…)

Very excited to have received some samples from Craigellachie at Home as part of the launch of the range…

is one of the greatest whisky hotels in the world and I love staying there so much, so to have a wee reminder of the place is brilliant.
