I had been craving a Sashimi Bowl for some time. So I made it by myself for our dinner one evening!

I bought Sashimi grade salmon, tuna and yellowtail from a Japanese grocer and assembled all that lovely raw fish over a bed of fresh sushi rice. I made Japanese sweet egg roll and add them on.

We visited Dover Castle in Kent the day after visiting in Ramsgate last weekend.

King Henry II began to build the current castle in the 1180’s、but Dover castle has had a long fascinating history ever since.

Dover castle is built on the top of a steep hill, so I had to walk up and down to go from one building to another.

The highlight of this visit was to walk through underground hospital built in tunnels during world war. II. I was amazed at the facilities they built in the tunnels.
You are not allowed to take any photos。

You can see the Port of Dover which isn’t very busy compared to 40 years ago when there was no Euro tunnel to go to France!
You can also peak France over the sea!

I enjoyed a tasty and delicious Thai lunch gossipy catch up with my friends Rosa's Thai a couple of weeks ago.

We couldn’t choose one dish each, so we shared these;
Pad Kra Prow
Pad Thai
Stir fried flat noodles

I love Thai food but I prefer milder dishes these days rather than spicy ones.

I had French galette for my lunch with my friend, then went to have Matcha Latte at a cafe Victoria and Albert Museum a few weeks ago.

I haven’t been Victoria & Albert Museum for some time, the cafe has turned into a beautiful place!

Had a wonderful lunch at Larry’s in The National Portrait Gallery in London when we went to see Marilyn Monroe exhibition.

Every dishes tasted so well and were delicious!
Marilyn Monroe exhibition was fantastic!

London Burrate cheese as a starter.
Grilled Chicken Paillard as a main.
Fire Roasted Aubergine as a main.
Golden Gaytime Choux as a dessert.

The service there was fantastic!
