Meet our Iranian consultant chef, Sholeh, who comes from the city of wine, Shiraz, in Iran. She came to the UK in 1995 and is very excited to showcase her home country’s most amazing dishes.

Introducing our chef for this Sat, Halima!
Halima was born in Afghanistan and moved to the Netherlands when she was 7 and in 2007, came to the UK.

Halima is a Teacher’s Assistant at a local primary school and also a part time chef making Afghan food.

Halima has put together a phenomenal menu for Sat and I hope you can all come out to support her!

I am excited to share that this Sat Jun 22, Blind Tiger will be showcasing incredible dishes from Afghanistan! Most of us have never tried this cuisine and it will be a wonderful surprise.

We often associate Afghanistan with war or terrorism. I want people to see the beauty of the country through its food and people.

Our chef is Halima, a beautiful person both in and out. She was born in Afghanistan and excited for you all to try the exquisite food from her country.
