It’s been years in the making and I’m now thrilled to announce that the documentary The Unknown Chefs will premiere on Apple TV and Amazon Prime on 14 November.

The documentary is a series that tells my story along with three incredible refugee chefs who have made London their home.

Please join us for an advance screening followed by a Q&A with the producers and myself at Mercato Metropolitano Elephant & Castle on Wednesday 12 November at 6pm. Link to free tickets are in our bio.

The first episode focuses on my journey from Aleppo to London and my former market stall at Mercato Metropolitano that carried the scents, stories and recipes of my homeland Syria.

World Food Auction is a collection of food-world friends coming together to auction experiences, meals, or special items to raise funds for a food-related charity of their choice as part of World Food Day.

We choose not to make falafel that often because there are so many other Syrian flavours to discover, but when we do, it’s the real deal and the best Syrian falafel you’ll get in London - deliciously golden and crisp on the outside, moreishly soft on the inside and packed full of flavour. We eat them by the bucket load 😂😉
