The perfect picnic probably doesn’t exist.

It’s usually cold,
a bit improvised,
slightly unrealistic.

But that’s not really the point.

Romance isn’t a date on the calendar.
It’s choosing to make something simple feel special.

A bottle of Mexican wine, a piece of Oaxaca and someone you like (even if that’s just yourself).

Cold outside. Warm inside.

Valentine’s may be over.
The picnic isn’t.
Good wine lasts longer!

No set menus, No pressure❤️‍🔥Just drinks, warmth and good company.2x1 all weekend!!See you inside❤️‍🔥 #

✨This 3-step recipe is the statement of Mexican holidays⛄️

Holidays mean slow mornings, warm kitchens and food made with your hands🫶🏻

The kind of food that brings everyone together ❣️

Sopes are one of those dishes. Simple and deeply comforting.

👩🏻‍🍳How to make sopes from scratch:
1️⃣Mix masa harina with warm water and a pinch of salt until you get a soft dough.
2️⃣Shape small discs and cook them on a hot pan until lightly golden on both sides.
3️⃣While still warm, gently pinch the edges to form a little rim, then top with beans, salsa, cheese or whatever your family loves.

Homemade food that goes straight to the heart ❤️

This is how Mexican traditions live on 🫔

Through what we cook, share, and eat together ☁️

🎄These are the essentials to have a very mexican Christmas, but what’s the story behind piñatas at this time of the year? 🪅
Piñatas are one of the most joyful Mexican traditions, but they’re also full of meaning.
Originally, the classic seven-point star wasn’t just decoration. Each point represents a “capital sin,” while the bright colours symbolise temptation. The blindfolded participant stands for faith, and the stick represents strength and determination. Breaking the piñata was a way to show that with perseverance, you can overcome life’s challenges and be rewarded with abundance… symbolised by the sweets pouring out 🍭🍬

Over time, the tradition evolved. Today, piñatas appear at Christmas posadas, children’s birthdays and every kind of Mexican celebration 🥳 They can be stars, cartoon characters, animals or anything you can imagine. But at their core, they’re about community, joy and sharing good things with the people around you 🫶🏻

A little reminder that in Mexico, celebrations mix fun, culture and meaning all at once ✨
