Hammerton Brewery Bringing Brewing back to Islington! Our beers are based both on modern and traditional brewing technics. Good beer takes time and patience.

Hammerton Brewery is a microbrewery based in Islington brewing small batch beers with the aim to bring great tasting beer back to the borough and also re-establish the Hammerton Brewery name in London. The team are lovers of all things beer and our beers are influenced not just by English beers but the great beers found across the globe. The team consist of Lee (Owner/ Brewer), Karina (Commercial) and Sam (Head Brewer). Our emphasis is on taste and using the best quality ingredients possible.

It’s taken us a good few weeks to be at the stage where we could post this, but we recently said goodbye to our sweet Hoppy at 11 years old.

She joined our crew almost from the very start—coming on board just six months in—and spent over a decade bringing endless kindness, companionship, and love to the brewery—along with a relentless pursuit of playing fetch 🏐

She was such a huge part of our story, and you can see it in our history—she has featured on more of our beer cans and label designs than anyone or anything else.

To say she leaves a void is an understatement.

We miss you more than words can say, and your spot in our hearts will never be replaced. Rest easy, sweet girl.🐕🦴❤️

It’s time for our annual release of Lassi Vs, our quickest selling sour ever.

This beer plays homage to the famous and delicious yoghurt based drink that originated from Punjab, India.
It’s a perfect balance of creamy yoghurt, sweet fleshy fresh mango with a hint of salinity and the sharpness you would expect from a Gose.

Now we are deep in summer with the sun shinning, this is a perfect refreshing beer garden sipper.

🍻 The Story Behind the Name:
Our Pilsner is named after Josef Groll, the Bavarian brewer who created the world’s very first Pilsner beer. Brewed with a mix of Saaz and Herkules hops and lagered for over 6 weeks, our Groll is a clean, dry, thirst-quenching masterpiece. Exactly the way it should be.
