Few people really understand the benefits, so we want to let you know. Hopefully very clearly.

Renegade is an EIS investment approved business.

EIS stands for Enterprise Investment Scheme and it's a UK Government program that promotes investments in exciting UK businesses by giving people great tax and financial risk protection benefits.

These benefits apply to UK residents who pay income tax. If you have any questions, please ask us and we'll try to help but always seek professional advice if you're unsure. We are not tax accountants and this isn't advice.

What EIS provides is an immediate tax rebate off your income tax bill of 30% of your investment value. So if you invest £1000, you get £300 back from your income tax liability. You can also claim this back off last years income tax. You can only go back one year though.

An EIS investment is also Capital Gains Tax excempt. So if you make lots of money out of Renegade, the tax man won't take a penny.

If you want to pass on your EIS investment, it's inheritance tax excempt as well. No money for you HMRC.

Another massive benefit of an EIS approved investment is that HMRC give you protection should the investment lose money. If your investment in Renegade didn't work out you can claim the loss against income tax as well. At your relevant income tax rate.

The UK government hasn't done tons for innovative UK based businesses who are ambitious, but this is one good thing.

Unfortunately the Renegade team as employees can't use EIS to invest, but you can.

Charlie Young founded and ran one of the most successful wine bar businesses in the UK and is now building a retail empire in North London .drinks.store.

*he may not be 35 nobody knows his real age. Some say that he's 154. Only with those years under his belt could he have built up the vinious knowledge that he holds.

With temperatures climbing (woooo hoooo) we're getting our fancy chiller serviced.

Wineries use chillers (and heaters) to keep wines cool or warm depending on the desired outcome.

In our case we want to keep them nice and cool and constant...

The chiller circulates water (and glycol) around a sealed system that goes inside the winery. Our tanks are double skinned which means the solution can run between the layers of stainless steel to keep temperatures where you want them.

It's not all sitting in the garden tasting wines and swirling glasses around. Honest.

Beyond proud to have been selected by to be in every room and suite in their newly launched London hotel.

It's beyond gorgeous and the food and drinks offering is ace. If you've not been to yet it's a destination in its own right.

This was a special collaboration to showcase two rare British butterflies that form part of the sustainability push that Six Senses are so focused on...
