At Henri Ehrhart, it's all in the family.

Today, siblings Cyrille and Sophie Ehrhart are continuing their family's passion for sharing the wines of Alsace, crafting bottles that are approachable, expressive, and rooted in the region they call home.

One of the things that makes the winery especially unique is its collaboration with artists, featuring original artwork on select labels. It's a creative way to celebrate the connection between wine and art, with each bottle telling a story before it's even opened.

Here's to the families, creativity, and passion that continue to shape Alsace, one bottle at a time!

Our philosophy in Alsace!

Some vintages ask more of the people who grow the grapes.

The 2026 season in Alsace has brought record heat, prolonged drought, and an exceptionally early growing season. Yet, even in challenging years, the vineyards continue to remind us why this region is so extraordinary.

Today, we're simply taking in the beauty of Alsace. The rolling vineyards, picturesque villages, and landscapes that make this one of France's most iconic wine regions.

As harvest approaches, we're looking ahead with hope and gratitude for the growers whose passion and resilience make every vintage possible.

Here's to the season ahead. 💚

Winemaking has been part of the Koehler family story since 1621, making this one of Alsace's longest-standing family estates.

Today, Christian and his wife Frédérique farm just over eight hectares of vineyards across Westhalten, Soultzmatt, Rouffach, and the renowned Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé. Their goal is to let each grape variety express its unique character while staying true to the terroir.

The estate has been HVE-certified since 2019 and has been generating its own renewable energy with solar panels since 2009, showing that centuries of tradition and a forward-thinking approach can go hand in hand.

Four centuries later, the Koehler family is still writing the next chapter of their story, one vintage at a time!

We were delighted to be part of the UK Sommelier of the Year competition this year, celebrating the talent, passion and expertise of the UK’s leading sommeliers.🍇

As part of the event, we hosted a blind tasting challenge featuring three Alsace Riesling Grands Crus wines, offering competitors and attendees the opportunity to explore the diversity, complexity and character of Alsace wines.

It was also a great opportunity to connect with hospitality professionals, drinks industry experts and wine enthusiasts from across the country.
Congratulations to Emma Denney on being crowned UK Sommelier of the Year 2026, and well done to all the finalists and competitors who demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the competition.🏆

Events like these remind us of the important role sommeliers play in bringing great wines to life and sharing their stories. We’re proud to have been part of such a fantastic day. 🥂
