Today’s studio at Qopper Stories: one stool, one backdrop, an unreasonable number of branches… and a copper pitcher waiting for its close-up.

A little higher.
No, lower.
Turn the handle.
Maybe three more stems.
Actually, take two out.
Perfect.

Wait… what if we try this?

…then move everything again.

And somewhere in the middle of it all, the shot suddenly comes together.

A beautiful September afternoon in London.

Something homemade, fresh from the oven, turned out of its copper mould and cooling in the garden… and one very curious Luffy keeping watch 🐾 until the boys come home from school.

The kind of ordinary little moment I’d happily bottle up.

Day 5 of our final Fashion Week reinterpretation.

After lids became fascinators, moulds became buttons and cookware became accessories, we wanted to finish somewhere quieter.

A simple white dress.
A sculptural copper pitcher.
And a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful combinations are the least complicated.

Back to the kitchen tomorrow.

Some accessories are made to hold more than a lipstick.

It is day 4 of and we may have taken the accessory brief a little too literally.

Ch*****ne chilled.
Glasses ready.
Copper bucket firmly part of the look.

Because if we have the permission to play with proportion, texture and the unexpected… we’re taking it.

Functional? Yes.
Subtle? Not particularly.

And perhaps that’s exactly the point.
