When wine is your true love, you love it in all its forms.

That means that both of these wines and serving settings have their place and are equally appreciated.

Wine 1 - £22 Premier Cru Chablis (glass!) poured on Coravin at Galvin Bistrot & Bar.
£1 oysters, served at a Michelin star bar with a cracking wine list and delicious mini martinis to boot.

Wine 2 - (less than 1 hour later) - £11 bottle of BYO Verdicchio, purchased at Sainsburys, served in a water tumbler at one of London's best Pakistani restaurants Tayaabs. Easily some of the best tandoori lamb I've ever eaten 🤤

Context matters and both wine experiences were equally as satisfying.

I've been busy, so apologies for the time between posts.
My creative energy has been entirely consumed until very recently, with the opening of Norfolk's most exciting new venue In the Wild. If you havent been in to check it out yet - please do!

I have somehow managed to fit in a sneaky trip with Mum to see my sister in London so naturally I'm making the most of good food, and of course - good wine.
Today's trip to Borough market has resulted in this dinner to be - wild mushroom and Italian sausage rigatoni.
Access to European wine is one of my favourite things about visiting the UK - even your local corner store is likely to have a decent range of smashable Spanish whites or even a Serralunga d'Alba Barolo for less than $30.

One more week here then you'll find me at In the Wild pouring Norfolk's most diverse wine list and sharing my love of food, wine and hospitality with you on the daily. 🍷

Santé!
