It's another hot day cant blame people for staying away. Never seen it so quiet during Summer school holidays. Let's hope it rains soon and get some grass growing again as we are already on our winter Hay. The Animals are coping very well with extra shade and water during this heatwave. Hopefully see you all soon.

One of them needs medication for a painful condition - if you're part of the horse community, please share this far and wide

There are some horrible people out there. Again someone knows something.😡

🚨 STOLEN GOATS – HEARTBREAKING THEFT IN RAINHAM, KENT🚨

Two much‑loved Golden Guernsey goats — Maggie and Maple — were snatched overnight from Peel Stable, Mereborough Road, , sometime between 9pm Saturday 18 July and 7.30am Sunday 19 July.

A 40–50cm hole was cut through the barbed‑wire fence, then tied back to hide it.

Someone chased these goats around their field, dragged them through that hole, and took them.

Maple suffers from serious seizures and has only just finished medication. Without the right care, she is at real risk.

Their owner is devastated.

The goats were bottle‑fed from 10 weeks old, raised alongside the family’s horses, pony, ducks, chickens, cats, dogs — they are family, not livestock.

If you live near Mereborough Road, Rainham, check your CCTV, Ring doorbells, dashcams, or anything that might show suspicious activity between 9pm Saturday and 7.30am Sunday.

A £1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to their safe return.

Earlier this month, staff at Buttercups Sanctuary for Goats told local paper KentOnline how they had been left heartbroken after Taco the goat was stolen overnight.

CCTV showed four men stealing him from the site in Boughton Monchelsea, near Maidstone, on July 4.

Seven baby goats were also stolen from their pen at Christmas Tree Farm in Cudham Road, Downe, on June 23. The animals were about four to five weeks old at the time.

Sadly the Goats are still missing, very unlikely that we will see them again. The Police followed up a few enquiries from our cctv and public help but to no avail.
Thank you for your support and for putting the word out. Don't forget still keep a look out as they are somewhere. Hopefully see you soon at the farm. ♥️

Thank you everyone for your messages and support. We are sorry if we upset the people that have donated. We just felt guilty as we heard a minority of people say that we were doing this for publicity and to make money. Never our intention we were just annoyed that someone could take 7 goats when we have gone through so much this year already. So we have decided to accept the donations and thank everyone for their support we will make a donation ourselves to a Goat Sanctuary separately. The money raised will go towards Hamish the Highland Cow as he is on regular veterinary care in his old age and to purchase Hay (those who use Hay will know the price and availability)
We appreciate every kind word and not appreciate the not so kind one's but thats social media for you. Please still keep a look out although we are now at the point of not seeing them again.
We take honour in the fact that so many people have great memories of the farm. We try our best and hopefully will carry on for many years. ❤️❤️

Good afternoon all. Update on the Goats sadly still not returned. We are still hopeful though 🤞
Thank you for all your messages and support its been a bit overwhelming. I did say originally that the farm is struggling yes its been a tough year as the weather has not been great and visitors understandably have stayed away. All businesses are in the same position. Yes bills have gone up and we have experienced some big vet bills recently and the price of Hay keeps going up.
Excelcare Bromley very kindly set up a fundraising page, we never set out to make money over the missing Goats. So with their permission we will accept monies raised but will donate to Goat Charities on our behalf. If you want to support the farm just please visit over the holidays.
We all thank you so much and hopefully see you soon and touch wood see the baby Goats in their rightful place. ❤️. (sorry I haven't replied to everyone but I have read them its been a bit of a week)

Good Morning friends of the Farm. We are completely overwhelmed with the support and messages. Too many for me to reply to all. We had hoped that the Goats would of been returned over night but sadly not. Mums are still calling out for them. Someone out there knows who has them or even the person who has them knows. If they are animal lovers then return them please to their rightful home. Yes the farm is very quiet, numbers are down mainly due to the weather too wet or too hot. Last half term was too hot for young children to be out so we respect that. Hopefully Summer holidays will be kinder. If anyone has information on the goats please get in touch. We are still hopeful for their return.
Thank you as always The team at Christmas Tree Farm. ❤️
