DISCOVER SHOCHU AT DRINK JAPAN

Explore Shochu through two unique experiences at Drink Japan.

At the Discover Shochu tasting bar, sample three distinctive styles of Shochu made from barley, rice and sweet potato, served both neat and in specially created cocktails.

You can also join a free 30-minute hands-on Shochu Cocktail Workshop, led by .bartender, Chief Mixologist at Park Hyatt London, and Bar Manager at ROKA Shochu Lounge.

Taste three different styles of Shochu, explore their individual characters, then create your own Shochu cocktail using the spirit and ingredients of your choice.

Go beyond the tasting glass at Drink Japan. Discover how to taste and pair sake, explore Japan’s oldest spirit, experience Japanese tea beyond matcha, or sharpen your palate with a WSET sake masterclass.

Join Japan House London, the cultural home of Japan in the UK, to learn practical skills in using both furoshiki (square cloths) and tenugui (rectangular cloths) to wrap a variety of objects, such as sake bottles.
