We’ve been so busy preparing for the Horsenden Solstice Festival this weekend that we’ve barely had a moment to celebrate British Flower Week!
We’re incredibly proud to be part of the growing British flower movement. We believe that sustainably grown, locally produced flowers are the future — beautiful blooms that support both people and planet.
We’re also proud to be a women-led team, which feels especially meaningful as 2026 is the UN’s International Year of the Woman Farmer. The British cut flower industry is powered by inspiring entrepreneurial women who are building successful businesses while championing sustainable, agroecological growing methods. We’re honoured to be among them.
Here are some of the wonderful women who make up the Horsenden Farm Flowers team.
We’ll be representing Horsenden Farm Flowers at the Solstice Festival tomorrow, where we’ll have lovely jam jar posies and gorgeous dried flower crowns, lovingly made by our fantastic volunteer team.
Come and celebrate the longest day of the year with us! 🌞
