'Pirate's Grog Five Year' is aged in white American oak barrels, giving it a rich golden colour and deliciously smooth finish, with flavours of butterscotch, raisin and vanilla. It can be sipped neat or used in premium cocktails, making it perfect for every occasion. Whilst the outstanding 'Pirate's Grog No.13', has just gained two more awards in the World Drink Awards 2017 for Best Aged Rum in the UK and Best Design Effectiveness. Pirate’s Grog Toasted Coconut Rum has officially picked up a Great Taste 2026 Double Gold Star Award ⭐⭐

We’ve collected a fair few awards over the years, but honestly, it never gets old. Every time a new bottle joins the gold-star club, it makes us extra happy... especially when it’s one we already knew was this good.

Smooth, rich and packed with proper toasted coconut flavour, this isn’t one of those overly sweet coconut rums that needs hiding in a cocktail. It’s seriously good neat, poured over ice or mixed into something tropical.

More than 15,000 products were entered into this year’s Great Taste Awards, with only around 1,500 receiving Double Gold Stars. And that’s across every food and drink category - meaning only a very small number of rums are granted this status.

A massive thank you to everyone who has bought a bottle, poured a glass or told a friend about it. This award belongs to the whole crew. 🏴‍☠️

We’ve been named finalists in the 2026 The Great British Entrepreneur Awards — often called the Grammys of Entrepreneurship — shortlisted in the Consumer Entrepreneur of the Year category.

When we started Pirate’s Grog, we set out to build a rum brand with real character, proper flavour, and a bit of pirate spirit. Since then, it’s been one big adventure — full of graft, brilliant people, bold decisions, and the occasional rum-fuelled idea that actually worked.

To be recognised alongside so many ambitious entrepreneurs and established businesses across the UK is something we’re incredibly proud of.
