📣 Taste of Grenada Update! 🇬🇩✨

We've had some familiar faces flying back from Grenada to the UK, and they’ve brought a true island treat with them—Conch, also known locally as Lambi! 🐚🤤

🌊 What’s Lambi? Lambi is a type of large sea snail that’s popular throughout the Caribbean. Known for its tender, flavorful meat, it’s a beloved ingredient in many traditional dishes. Lambi’s rich, slightly sweet flavor is a must-try for seafood lovers!

🍲 How is it Cooked? There are so many ways to enjoy this Caribbean delicacy! Some favorites include:

Lambi Stew: Slow-cooked in a rich, spiced sauce until perfectly tender.

Grilled Lambi: Simply seasoned and grilled for a smoky, flavorful bite.

Lambi Fritters: Chopped, seasoned, and deep-fried in a savory batter.

Lambi Salad: Lightly cooked and tossed with fresh veggies and lime juice—perfect for a refreshing twist!

🌴 Have You Ever Tried Lambi? Let us know if you've tasted this island delight before, or if you’re curious to give it a try! Share your favorite way to enjoy Lambi or tag a friend who needs to try this Caribbean gem!

Menu testing is harder than it looks! 🙈🫣

Every Sunday, we get stuck into some serious "work" by starting the day with a late breakfast (or brunch, if you prefer!) featuring freshly made fried bakes, saltfish s***e, smashed avocado, and perfectly fried plantain. 🍽️🇬🇩

We can't decide if it's work or pure enjoyment, but hey, someone has to do it!

Would you have this for breakfast? What’s your usual Sunday morning meal? Share with us below! 👇🏽

The first time I visited the stunning island of Grenada 🇬🇩 I was completely amazed by something I’d never expected — how nutmeg grows! 😲

I always thought of nutmeg as just that little brown spice in my pantry, but when I saw it growing in its natural form, I was blown away.

Nutmeg comes from a gorgeous fruit that looks like a little pear.

When the fruit ripens, it splits open to reveal a shiny brown seed (the nutmeg we know) covered by a vibrant, red lace called mace – another spice in itself!

The outer fruit is often used for jams and jellies, and nothing goes to waste.

Grenada is called the "Spice Isle" for a reason, and seeing this incredible process firsthand was unforgettable. 🌱✨

Have you ever seen nutmeg in its natural form? Drop a comment if you’ve been to Grenada or would love to visit! 🌴👇
