We’ve been celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week across the Group through a range of initiatives designed to encourage connection and boost wellbeing. This year’s theme, ‘Take Action’, reminds us that even small gestures can have a meaningful impact. It’s been wonderful to see everyone embracing the spirit of the week and getting involved with our internal initiatives:
💌 Our Compliments Cupid initiative encouraged employees to recognise and appreciate colleagues who have made a difference to their day or simply deserve some recognition.
☀️ At Head Office, our Send Some Sunshine cards gave people the opportunity to share handwritten messages of appreciation and positivity with one another.
☕ Several of our sites also hosted informal Coffee & Chat sessions, creating space for wellbeing breaks, open conversation, and connection between colleagues.
Mental health awareness doesn’t have to be about grand gestures, nor does it need to feel ‘heavy’. It’s often the small moments of kindness, appreciation and community (and cake) that make the biggest difference.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who got involved this week!
