Yesterday it was hot 🥵

So I made an (my fav cocktail!) with some brand new to the UK 7yo bottled-in-bond 🥃

Watch me totally not add enough ice 🧊 for the weather, and for the recipe:

4 dashes bitters
2 tablespoons sugar syrup
50ml 7yo bottled-in-bond
Ice. More Ice. Some more Ice. Even more Ice! 🫣😮‍💨
Stir
Cocktail cherry garnish

DOLCE AND ARDBEGGA 🥃

You like “sweet and peat”? Well, have you tried peated whisky with sweet Marsala wine casks before?

Marsala is a beautiful and remote part of west Sicily, and makes some of my favourite sweet wines, but the casks are sadly rarely seen in whisky use 🥹.

Thankfully Ardbeg managed to get a parcel of them 💪

Like all the special releases, you also get an ABV bump, up to 47.8% here, and… it’s out now… which given the weather in the UK, is probably the closest we will get to Sicilian all year, so perfect timing?! 💥
