If you’ve visited Kung Fu Mama, chances are you’ve met our co-founder, Noam.

Before Kung Fu Mama, Noam helped shape London’s hospitality scene as a co-founder of Ottolenghi. But what has always driven him is simple: a love of great food and bringing people together.

When he met Chris Hsu, they shared a vision of bringing authentic Taiwanese flavours to London through fresh, high-quality food that could fit into everyday life.

Today, you can find Noam with a smile, whether keeping things flowing behind the scenes or behind the counter - making sure every bowl lives up to the mission!

Meet our founders, Chris Hsu and Noam Bar - the duo behind Kung Fu Mama, bringing their signature sun-dried noodles to London. 🌞⁠

Chris founded his noodle business in Taiwan, using recipes inspired by his grandma. When he and his family came over to London in 2019 he met Noam, co-founder of Ottolenghi. ⁠

Together, they set out to create something healthy, high-quality and full of flavour - and Kung Fu Mama was born. ⁠
