Most of us have a ""go-to"" bottle. We find something we enjoy and keep coming back to it.

There's nothing wrong with that, but the world of w**e has so much more to offer. There are thousands of grape varieties and countless w**e regions, each with its own character and story. Trying something different every now and then can introduce you to flavours you never expected to enjoy.

The next time you visit us, tell us what you usually drink. We might recommend something a little different that could become your new favourite.

What's your go-to bottle, and would you be willing to swap it for something new?

Price isn't always the best guide when choosing w**e.

Experienced w**e merchants look beyond the cost, considering the grape variety, where the w**e comes from, the producer's reputation and, most importantly, how balanced the w**e is. Sometimes, an affordable bottle can be every bit as enjoyable as one that costs much more.

If you're unsure where to start, we're always happy to help you find a bottle you'll genuinely enjoy.

Ever opened a bottle, had a glass, and thought it tasted even better the next day?

Some w**es benefit from a little time in contact with air, allowing their aromas and flavours to become more open and balanced. Others are best enjoyed as soon as the cork is pulled, while they're at their freshest.

If you have w**e left over, don't be too quick to pour it away. Reseal it, pop it in the fridge and see how it tastes the following day. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Have you ever preferred a w**e on day two?

Warm weather can change the way w**e tastes much faster than most people realise.

A bottle left in the sun can lose its freshness in no time, while over-chilling can hide delicate aromas. Keeping w**e at the right temperature and serving it with a little care helps you enjoy it exactly as the w**emaker intended.

Whether you're hosting a garden party or enjoying a picnic, these small tips can make a big difference.

Which tip do you always follow?

Some of the world's most exciting w**es come from regions that many people have never explored.

From the volcanic vineyards of Etna to the coastal freshness of Galicia and the distinctive w**es of Jura, each region offers its own unique style and character. Exploring different regions is one of the best ways to discover new favourites and experience just how diverse the world of w**e can be.

Which w**e region would you love to explore next?

Forgot to chill the w**e?

Instead of putting the bottle in the freezer and hoping for the best, use an ice bucket filled with ice, cold water and a handful of salt. The salted ice water surrounds the bottle evenly, helping it chill much faster without affecting the w**e.

It's a simple trick that's perfect when unexpected guests arrive or dinner is almost ready.

Have you tried this before, or do you have your own way of chilling w**e quickly?

Every weekend deserves something worth looking forward to.

This week's Weekend Pick is Osmoz Classic Gin, a beautifully balanced gin crafted from grapes, staying true to the earliest style of gin production. Juniper takes centre stage, complemented by fresh citrus notes and a gentle aromatic sweetness that gives it both depth and elegance.

Whether you prefer it over ice or with a premium tonic and a slice of citrus, it's a classic that's easy to enjoy.

Would you serve yours neat, over ice or with tonic?

Sparkling w**e isn't just about Ch*****ne.

Crémant, Cava and Ch*****ne are all made using the traditional method, but each has its own style, character and personality. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a glass with friends, there's a sparkling w**e to suit every moment.

Not sure which one to choose? We'd be happy to help you find the perfect bottle.
